Nicole is a mental health professional who specializes in early childhood mental health services at Nexus-FACTS Family Healing.

Education/Experience: Nicole received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychological Science and Neuroscience from Gustavus Adolphus College, and then went on to receive a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Nicole is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota and is also a board approved clinical supervisor through the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. She is state-certified to provide DC:0-5 Diagnostic Assessments for Young Children. 

Specialties: Nicole is passionate about supporting families of young children and helping to coach and empower caregivers to bring their best selves to the relationship. Nicole cares about recognizing the strengths that children and caregivers bring to their relationship, and then helping them to find a shared language to increase joy within their interactions. Sessions with Nicole usually involve lots of play, silliness, and fun. 

Interests/Hobbies: When she’s not at Nexus-FACTS, Nicole enjoys spending time traveling to the North Shore, playing with her dog, and trying to cook new recipes.
