Nexus-Woodbourne Family Healing welcomes new board members who will assist in guiding the organization in the mission to strengthen families and stabilize mental health in the Baltimore and Maryland-Washington, DC area. The below individuals were appointed to the Nexus-Woodbourne Board of Directors at the February 2021 meeting:
- Dr. Al Jones, Jr - Associate Division Director at the Office of Special Education Programs within the U.S. Department of Education
- Leslie Ashley - Senior Investment Specialist with William Blair’s Private Wealth Management group
- Cate Goytisolo - Senior Manager, Cross-Category Campaigns for Under Armour
- Dr. Chevell Thomas - Engagement Team Lead at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), an Operating Division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
When looking for board members, we seek individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of youth and families struggling with mental health and who are willing to share their expertise to further our impact.
